Shawn Terris has over thirty years' professional experience in budget and finance in the private, public, and non-profit sectors.  She is an expert on public pensions, has been a public speaker across the country, and has had several of her articles published.  Over the course of her career, she received numerous awards for process improvements and leadership. 

 

Shawn served as Chair of the Veterans Caucus of California’s Democratic Party, Chair of the Ventura County Democratic Party, President of Stonewall Democrats of Ventura County, President of California's State Association of County Retirement Systems, and Chair of the Santa Barbara County Employees Retirement System Board. 

 

Shawn holds an MBA and was a Captain in the United States Marine Corps.
